Two Must-Watch Movies Starring The ‘Maleficent’ Angelina Jolie

If you’re planning on watching Angelina Jolie play a fantasy character bent on revenge in Maleficent, here’s your chance to dose up on more of her movies: Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Wanted are now available for rent on iTunes.  Both soundtracks to these films are released by Lakeshore Records and feature a great compilation of artist tracks.  Look out for music by Joe Strummer & mescaleros, Soft Cell, Pink Martini, and more on the Mr. & Mrs. Smith soundtrack.  A separate score album featuring music by Academy Award-nominated John Powell (Fair Game, Jumper) is a must listen.  Wanted is scored by Academy Award-nominated Composer Danny Elfman (Nacho Libre, Corpse Bride).  Known for his television score for The Simpsons and numerous movies, Elfman is also notably recognized as the frontman of cult southern California ’80s band, Oingo Boingo.

Wanted (rent it on iTunes) – Co-starring James McAvoy (Penelope, X-Men: First Class) and Morgan Freeman (Feast of Love) is about an unsuspecting average guy (played by McAvoy) who turns out to be the son of a super assassin.  Captured by an elite society of assassins, he is paired by the limber and cat-like “Fox”, played by Jolie.  Besides memorable, gravity-defying action sequences, the ability for these assassins to arc a bullet with a unique shooting technique is a fun part of this movie.  Download The Album: iTunes | Buy CD

Mr. & Mrs. Smith (rent it on iTunes) – Co-starring Brad Pitt (Killing Them Softly, Tree of Life), this movie is about two undercover spies who happen to be married to each other.  They eventually discover each other’s occupation through their latest mission.
